Stable Performance in Humid Conditions

Bambu PPA-CF maintains stable mechanical and thermal performance even in humid environments. With a moisture absorption rate 66% lower than standard PA6-CF materials, it retains its strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability over long-term use. This makes it suitable for water-related applications such as propellers, surfboard accessories, marine components, and other parts exposed to moisture.

Unmatched Performance Under High Temperatures

Bambu PPA-CF features exceptional heat resistance, capable of maintaining its structural integrity at temperatures up to 227°C. Even under prolonged exposure to high temperatures, the material remains strong, stable, and reliable. This makes it an excellent choice for industrial, automotive, and mechanical components that must withstand extreme thermal environments.

Drying Recommendations:

  • Drying Temperature:

In a blast drying oven: 100°C to 140°C for 8 to 12 hours.

On an X1 printer’s heatbed: 110°C to 120°C for 10 to 12 hours (less effective than a blast drying oven).

  • Important Note: Higher temperatures within the drying range yield better results, but do not exceed 160°C to avoid damaging the spool.
  • Additional Information: For more details, refer to Printing tips for Engineering materials on WIKI.

Storage Tips:

Annealing Prints:

Interface Layer:

    • To prevent the filament from damaging the printing surface and to promote model adhesion, apply a thin coat of glue stick for best results.
