Description

Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon PA6 Material
Bambu PA6-GF, also known as glass fiber reinforced Nylon 6, is a high-performance engineering filament designed for exceptional strength, durability, and dimensional stability. The glass fiber reinforcement significantly improves stiffness and structural performance, making it ideal for functional parts, industrial tools, and engineering components. Compared to other top-tier engineering filaments, PA6-GF also provides a more cost-effective solution for demanding applications.
Built to Last
Bambu PA6-GF is exceptionally strong and durable thanks to its glass fiber reinforcement. This enhanced structure allows printed parts to withstand heavy use, mechanical stress, and repeated loading without bending or breaking easily, making it an excellent choice for functional engineering components.
*Note: Printed parts can achieve improved toughness after absorbing a small amount of moisture.

Outstanding Dimensional Stability
PA6-GF offers excellent dimensional stability due to its glass fiber reinforcement, which significantly reduces warping compared to standard PA filaments. This allows users to print complex geometries and precision parts while maintaining accurate dimensions and structural integrity.

Exceptional Thermal Properties
Bambu PA6-GF features a high heat deflection temperature and excellent thermal stability. It can maintain its mechanical strength and structural performance even under elevated temperatures, making it suitable for demanding engineering, automotive, and industrial applications.

Excellent Chemical Resistance
PA6-GF provides strong resistance to chemicals, oils, greases, and many common solvents. This allows printed parts to perform reliably in harsh environments where exposure to industrial fluids or chemicals is common.

Smooth Surface and Multi-Color Printing
Bambu PA6-GF filaments are compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS system, allowing seamless multi-color printing. The special surface texture of the material also helps blur layer lines, resulting in a smoother surface finish compared to many traditional engineering filaments.

RFID for Intelligent Printing
All printing parameters are embedded into the RFID tag on the filament spool. When used with the Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System), the printer automatically reads the filament information and applies the recommended settings.
Simply load the spool and start printing — no manual parameter adjustments required.

Printing Tips
• Bambu PA6-GF needs proper drying before printing: recommended drying temperature is 80 ℃ for 8 to 12 hours in a blast drying oven, or 90 to 100 ℃ for 10 to 12 hours on heat bed. (Do not exceed 100 ℃ because the spool may deform or even melt). For more details, please refer to:Printing tips for Engineering materials on WIKI.
• To prevent the filament from absorbing moisture, it is recommended to use an airtight storage container with desiccant during printing. For more details, please refer to:Printing tips for Engineering materials on WIKI.
• To minimize warping, avoid printing large-sized high infill density models. Use enclosed printers and ensure the build plate is properly applied with glue for better print adhesion before printing.
• For better print results and more details, please refer to:Printing tips for Engineering materials on WIKI.
Post-processing Tips
• We recommend removing the support structures within 2 hours after printing to prevent them from sticking after absorbing moisture. If sticking occurs, dry the model to ease the removal.
• Placing the printed part in a convection oven set between 80 to 130 degrees Celsius for 5 to 12 hours can further enhance the strength and rigidity of the print. Note: The effectiveness of this process depends on the structure, size, and conditions of the printed model. Some models may warp or deform after annealing.
