Description

Bambu ASA-CF – Engineered for Harsh Outdoor Conditions
Bambu ASA-CF is designed for demanding outdoor environments. It retains the weather resistance and durability of ASA while incorporating carbon fiber reinforcement to increase stiffness and dimensional stability. This makes it an excellent material for large-scale models and functional components that require precision and durability under harsh conditions.

Superior Outdoor Durability
Bambu ASA-CF stands out as one of the best materials for outdoor applications. With excellent resistance to UV exposure, temperature changes, and harsh weather conditions, this filament is reinforced with carbon fiber to improve strength and longevity. It is ideal for producing durable garden tools, outdoor furniture components, and protective housings for electronic devices.

Optimized for Large Models
Carbon fiber reinforcement significantly reduces warping and improves dimensional stability during printing. Bambu ASA-CF is therefore highly suitable for large models or precision parts used in assemblies, ensuring consistent accuracy and reliable structural integrity even in larger prints.

Sleek Matte Finish
The carbon fiber reinforcement creates a refined matte surface with minimal visible layer lines. This sleek and natural appearance makes Bambu ASA-CF particularly suitable for visually appealing outdoor prints, decorative planters, and high-quality display models.

Enhanced Stiffness for High Load-Bearing Parts
Bambu ASA-CF offers approximately 67% greater stiffness compared to standard ASA materials. This enhanced rigidity allows printed parts to withstand higher loads while maintaining structural stability. It is especially suitable for functional components such as camping accessories, plant stands, brackets, and other outdoor equipment that require strong load-bearing performance.

Printing Tips
1. Dry before use for higher printing quality.
- In a blast drying oven: 80°C for 8 hours.
- On an X1 printer’s heatbed: 90°C to 100°C for 12 hours.
2. Carbon fiber makes ASA-CF more brittle compared to normal ASA. Please avoid excessive bending to prevent filament breakage.
3. Tips to increase dimensional stability:
- Use printers with an enclosure and apply glue on the build plate before printing.
- Set lower printing speed and higher heatbed temperature. For more details, please refer to: Common print quality problems and solutions on WIKI.
4. High heatbed temperatures and glue stick can cause strong adhesion between the print and the build plate. Please allow the print to cool down to room temperature naturally for easier removal and to avoid damage to the model. For more details, please refer to: Work After Printing Finished on WIKI.
5. Similar to ASA, odors may be released during printing. Make sure your printer is placed in a well-ventilated area and use enclosed printers.
